VALE Mr Kevin Hogan RAAFA Cairns Branch member since the 1960’s, Kevin separated from the RAAF as a Corporal. Served at RAAF Base Butterworth Malaya in the 1950’s with No 5 Airfield Construction Squadron as an electrical technician.

After his service with the RAAF he moved into the civilian sector and worked with Far North Queensland Electricity Board in his trade, he rose through the managerial positions as the assistant manager.

He was the Branch Treasurer for many years and seven years ago stepped aside in that role and moved on to the executive role as assistant Treasurer till 2021.

Keven was the type of person who moved along with modern technology while still retaining the old values, for this is very rare in this modern permissive society Corporal Kevin Hogan was such a person, Kevin was also a Life Member of the RAAFA Cairns Branch and QLD Division.

Kevin will be missed by us all his wonderful sense of humour that lifted us all when we were feeling down, Kevin was always there for us always willing to help, god bless you Keven lest we forget.
